A Memorable Visit from U2’s The Edge to Francie Sheahan’s Bar, Killorglin

David Howell Evans – better known as The Edge of U2 – recently enjoyed a warm welcome and a few relaxed moments at Francie Sheahan’s Bar, nestled in the heart of Killorglin, Co. Kerry.

While soaking in the atmosphere, he became intrigued by Puck Fair, Ireland’s oldest festival, which proudly celebrates its 412th anniversary this August. Donal and Mairead Sheahan were delighted to share its rich history with him, presenting a beautifully framed account of the festival’s origins and legacy.
